| Hello, my name is Olga Gagne and I live in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario Canada. My first Giant was acquired in 1974. He became multi-titled in obedience in Canada and the U.S. and he was my mentor for the breed. Together we experienced life! Other Giants came soon after, and conformation showing took over. Bluechip follows a conscientious breeding program. Through the years, Bluechip Giants have proven themselves as strong competitors in both Canada and the U.S. They have won Best In Shows, Best In Specialties, Groups, Best Puppy In Groups, Best Puppy In Shows and have been at the top of their game. This breeding progaram has establishd Bluechip as a top Canadian name in Giant Schnauzers. Bluechip Giants are also known in obedience. Numerous dogs have titles from Companion Dog, CD, through to Utility Dog, UD. It is not unusual for dogs to have both obedience titles and conformation championships. They enjoy tracking and have shown a natural aptitude in the field of Schutzhund. The most titled GS bitch in Schutzhund is from Bluechip Kennels. The dogs enjoy working but their accomplishments would not be possible if it wasn't for the hard work, love, and dedication of their owner-trainers. Aside from the Champions and obedience titlists, many Bluechip Giants fulfil the most important duty of being a devoted, loving, and protective companion to a family. These dogs are the best goodwill ambassadors a breed can have. MEET OLGA GAGNE As mentioned, I have owned Giant Schnauzers since 1974. I began obedience training, showing, breeding, and became involved with many dog clubs. Member of Giant Schnauzer Club of America since 1975 - Currently Breed Education Chairperson Member of Giant Schnauzer Canada since 1978 - Currently Secretary and Ontario Director, and have held all other executive positions Life Member of St. Catharines & District Kennel and Obedience Club - Currently Awards Chairperson, and have held many other executive positions Founding Member of Wine Country Kennel Club - President & Show Chairperson Member of Temperament Test Associates - Chief Tester and Director Life Member of the Canadian Kennel Club Licensed Judge with Canadian Kennel Club Member of Canadian Dog Judges Association Member of Papillon Club of America Member of Papillon Canada - Secretary, and past Ontario Director I have had the honour of judging both the American and Canadian Giant Schnauzer NatIonal Specialties. This was the dream of a lifetime! My passion for this breed makes me treasure all the years I have spent with them. I have had great experiences and have met wonderful people all across North America. This will continue for a long time still! |
